无论是从声调、书写还是语法文明层面来说,汉语的运用难度较高,对初学者的难度很大。
From its tonal system and character-based writing to its grammatical structures and cultural context, Chinese presents significant challenges for learners, particularly daunting for beginners.
老外眼里的汉字居然是这样的:
汉语中还有众多的方言,也给学习者带来宏大的“坎坷”:

汉语已然如此之难,但你可别以为其他言语就容易对付,谁还没点“杀手锏”呢?!
阿拉伯语:“一个字母四种写法,词根变形堪比奥数题!”

不过,吐槽归吐槽,学言语到底有没有方法呢?
Lýdia Machová在TED演讲《The secrets of learning a new language》里分享的这些方法,也许能给我们一些启示,快快收藏!

I love learning foreign languages. In fact, I love it so much that I like to learn a new language every two years, currently working on my eighth one.
When people find that out about me, they always ask me, "How do you do that? What's your secret?" And to be honest, for many years, my answer would be, "I don't know. I simply love learning languages."
As I was listening to these polyglots telling me about their methods, it suddenly dawned on me: the one thing we all have in common is that we simply found ways to enjoy the language-learning process. All of these polyglots were talking about language learning as if it was great fun.
If you try to memorize a list of words for a test tomorrow, the words will be stored in your short-term memory and you'll forget them after a few days.
假如你试图背诵一份词汇表以便明天参加考试,这些词汇会被存储在你的短期记忆中,几天后你就会遗忘它们。
If you, however, want to keep words long term, you need to revise them in the course of a few days repeatedly using the so-called space repetition.
但是,假如你想长期记住这些词汇,你需求在几天内反复复习它们,运用所谓的间隔反复法。
We're all very busy and no one really has time to learn a language today. But we can create that time if we just plan a bit ahead.
如今我们都很忙,没有人真正有工夫去学习一门言语。但是假如我们事前计划一下,就能挤出那个工夫。
Can you wake up 15 minutes earlier than you normally do? That would be the perfect time to revise some vocabulary. Can you listen to a podcast on your way to work while driving? Well, that would be great to get some listening experience.
你可以比往常早起15分钟吗?那将是复习一些词汇的完美工夫。你在开车下班的路上能听播客吗?那将是非常好的听力练习机会。

▌要有耐烦
It's not possible to learn a language within two months, but it's definitely possible to make a visible improvement in two months, if you learn in small chunks every day in a way that you enjoy. And there is nothing that motivates us more than our own success.
在两个月内学会一门言语是不能够的,但假如每天以本人喜欢的方式学习一点,那么在两个月内一定能看到分明的提高。而且,没有什么比我们本人的成功更能激励我们了。
